How to set up recurring transactions or Reminder in QuickBooks

You can set QuickBooks to either remind you to do something or automatically repeat business, as customer billing quarterly or monthly fee to your credit card. You do this by memorizing the transaction. Start by entering a business or go to previously went one you want to copy. Press Ctrl M and memorize Transaction dialogue window will open and you can set your options. Some tips:

  • If you just want to set up a business for the future and do not take it now, set up preferences and then close the transaction without saving.
  • Name a business you would like it to appear in the list –Ctrl T, emerging memorized transactions list.
  • If you choose the option remind me, reminder appears in reminders and alerts section on the right side of the home page. You can also have alerts list pop up when disconnected QB by placing choice under the menu bar Edit> Preferences> Reminders.
  • If you choose automatically option, you will still see a message pop up to tell you that QB has automatically in trading on the date you specify.
  • If the amount of the account will change, the memory business without amount, set it to remind you, and then you will be able to change its business with the correct amount when the reminder appears.
  • You can also simply set to make notes with the menu bar club> list and it will appear in the reminder list and you can enter your transaction at the time.
